Profile

After working for over 20 years in the food and beverage industry, working my way to the director of food and beverage at a small casino in Las Vegas, I needed a new challenge.  I decided to branch out into the computer industry.  I opened a small business and began taking classes to further hone my skills.  I have owned my own business for seven years. After relocating to Wyoming with my wife’s teaching job, I decided this was a good time to again use my skills to teach and train others about my industry.

I know that my great depth of computer knowledge as well as my vast experience in management will make me an asset to any IT department.

Experience

Winn Photography and Design — 2006-present
Design and develop websites, maintain websites, all aspects of graphic arts, maintain network and equipment, budget/purchase leading edge technologies.  Photography of all kinds: small product, portraiture, landscape, fine art, etc…

Design and implement Networks, both wireless and Ethernet. Perform repair and maintenance on windows based systems, Mac OS X systems, and Linux systems.

Fremont County School District #21 — 2010-2011
Assisting the Technology department sort, organize, and inventory all Tech.  After School Activities teaching the youth of the district how to plan,write, and record audio podcast; plan, write, make a movie slideshow, and record video podcast; all aspects of digital photography: types of photography, lighting, framing, and subject matter.

Denny’s — 2004-2006
Re-train the crew and management team to correct operational failures.  Budget, project trends, purchase, maintain standards, and develop innovative marketing techniques to increase sales. Improved sales to a profitable margin from a loss.  This was accomplished mainly through proper training.
Self Employed — 2002-2004
Upgrade systems, trouble shoot systems, remove viruses, setup home networks, clean hard drives, repair registry errors, etc…
